The short legal page of a static notebook: what you may do with the text, and what the text may not do for you.
The Notebook is provided as is, for personal and educational use. You may quote it with a link, teach with it and disagree with it loudly. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own, scrape it for automated reuse, or present its text as field experience you did not have.
No professional advice
Nothing here is legal, safety or professional archaeological advice. Site rules, permits, closures and tribal law govern on the ground, and the summaries in our laws guide are a map to those authorities, not a replacement. Travel decisions in canyon country remain yours, with the water arithmetic to match.
Respect and liability
Use of the notebook does not grant any right over sites, panels or artifacts, which are protected by the laws and nations described throughout, including the duties in our visit checklist. To the fullest extent the law allows, the desk is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the pages here. The privacy policy explains that reading collects nothing, the editorial policy explains how pages are made, and the contact page is where disputes and corrections start.
