Privacy policy
A notebook that watches its readers would be poor at watching sites. Here is the whole privacy picture, in four short paragraphs.
This site collects no personal data by browsing. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising and calls no third party scripts or fonts, so no one is profiled while you read about people who would have found the idea incomprehensible.
The one exception
If you write to the desk, the mailbox holds your message and address until the correspondence is resolved, as explained on the contact page. Nothing from it is added to a list, sold, or used to write to you first.
What the site itself is
The Notebook is a static set of pages served by a plain web host; it has no database of readers, no login and no comments. Requests handled by the host may appear in routine server logs kept under that provider's own retention rules; we do not read or process them.
Changes and questions
If this policy ever changes, the change will be described on this page with its date. Questions about privacy travel the same road as everything else: write to contact@southwestarchaeologyteam.org.
