Southwest Archaeology NotebookA field notebook of Southwest archaeology

Contact

Contact the desk

One address reaches the desk that keeps the notebook.

Envelope and postcard beside a stone paperweight and an open site report on a sunlit adobe window ledge

The desk reads one address: contact@southwestarchaeologyteam.org. Every message is read, and the useful ones change the notebook: a date range that new research has tightened, a site rule the guides summarize wrongly, a reading of a panel that deserves more humility than we gave it.

What to send

  • Corrections: name the page, the sentence and the source that says otherwise.
  • Field reports: road conditions, access changes and tour seasons, which age faster than archaeology.
  • Tribal and community perspectives on how the notebook describes ancestral places, which we treat as priority mail.
  • Stewardship questions and program updates for the stewardship guide.
  • Partnership and sponsorship proposals, which are answered against the editorial policy and the sponsored content terms.

There is no form, no tracking and no newsletter; a plain letter to the address above is the whole machinery. If your message concerns a factual claim, include the page URL, which is why every page here carries exactly one.
